I want to take a moment and thank all of my friends, family, and clients for the fun times I has this year and for all the love and support. I owe all I have to God and feel truly blessed to have had some great opportunities and experiences this year. It was packed with so many new things and I would have never guessed where the road was going to lead. Please stick with me as we enter the new year. I have some new things in the works that I am very excited about. I also will have some big announcements coming this spring. I know that 2009 is going to bring some really big changes for me that I am very scared about, but also very excited about. It is going to be a year of learning, leaning, and understand. I hope to have my next post be on the new blog which will be up next month. I will also take some time to look back at the past year with some images that have not been posted on my blog. Go check it out and watch for some new images to be loaded. I also got my Christmas present to myself last Friday. I was sure that I wasn't going to get it by the end of the year. Especially since I wanted to test drive it as my friend's wedding last Saturday since I was not their wedding photographer. Well, just as we were packing the car I got a message that my new Canon 5d Mark II was in. We picked it up on our way to Iowa and I had so much fun trying it out. I was blown away by it's awesomness...and since I was coming from a Canon 30D 8 megapixel camera to this amazing 21 megapixel camera I was almost in tears at how great it really was. I am going to have a blast shooting with this new camera and look forward to all the possibilities and challenges it will bring me! Here is my new baby:
I will be posting some images that I shot with it and some video in the future. Looking forward to 2009 with you.

Sweet! I got a 5D Mark II as well! I am loving mine so far.

ahh your so lucky!! I can't wait to get my hands on that camera! I am so glad that you are going to WPPI, we are doing a night shoot one night with me and a few ladies and on Tuesday we are shooting at the neon graveyard. If you want to go to any of those let me know and I can give you the details. I would love to meet you!

I am so excited for you and your gift to self. lol! Seeing your images makes me feel like I should turn in my Nikon?! They're beautiful. btw- I just realized that you are in Minnessota. My cousin plays for the Vikings... it's be really FUN to shoot a bunch of players?! hummm.... do I have the guts to ask them??? lol!
