Site Down

My site will be down this weekend with broken images. My plan was to make the transfer today, but just as I was setting up to do it the power went out. It has been out for the last two hours and now I am going out of town for the weekend. Hopefully I will be able to get it up and running on Sunday or early next week. Until then...you have been warned and I will be back to get it all done after the weekend!

Fun New Video

I was just having fun with a video maker. It designed one with the new engagement session I did. I might have to do these for other upcoming sessions.

Engaged:R+J

These two contacted me after seeing my images from a family session I did with one of their siblings. I was very excited to meet them but I am disappointed that I won't be photographing their wedding in Lacrosse in August. Robyn has some great ideas for a summer fun wedding with bright pinks and lime green! We survived the rain by taking cover under the Stone Arch Bridge about 3 times then finally the sun peaked it's way out to end the great afternoon. It was wonderful to meet the two of you and I wish you the best for your wedding and marriage!

New Baby - Emalyn

Matt (hubby) and I visited Cameron and Kristine tonight and brought over dinner and my camera. We took some sweet little new baby pictures for little Emalyn Ruth. She is so cute. You might remember Kristine's maternity pictures! She looks great now!

Storms!

We had severe storms and tornado warnings all over the twin cities last Saturday, which made for some interesting weather. It was sunny in one half of the sky and cloudy in the other. The wedding I shot was a western style with a really fun laid back couple! I shot the wedding with Krista who now has her blog up too! We pretty much shoot all our weddings together. Here are some images from this weekend! Yes the sky was really blue and the grass was really greeeen!

Outdoor Wedding Fun!

Today was my first outdoor wedding for the season. I heard that the forecast planned for huge thunderstorms about an hour after the ceremony was scheduled to start. We ended up without a cloud in the blue sky for the ceremony and the portraits afterwards. It made for a beautiful day and a beautiful wedding. We shot at the Sheraton Four Points Hotel in Minneapolis.

Fun Engagement Pictures

I can probably count on one hand the number of engagement sessions that I have done, but I think they are my favorite things to shoot. I can have so much fun and pretty much have no limitations (as long as the couple is willing to have some fun too)! Check out these cool locations in downtown Minneapolis!

Kenny is a fellow cadet in the AFROTC program and the University of Minnesota and a good friend of my husbands. So good that my husband will be in the wedding party while I get to enjoy to privilege of shooting the wedding. Kenny is graduating shortly and will commission as on officer in the Air Force and move to Mississippi in November. It will be a short engagement with a wedding planned for August! I am very excited for Ken and Celia and I had tons of fun today taking their pictures. Thanks for my hubby for coming along!!
