Kenny is a fellow cadet in the AFROTC program and the University of Minnesota and a good friend of my husbands. So good that my husband will be in the wedding party while I get to enjoy to privilege of shooting the wedding. Kenny is graduating shortly and will commission as on officer in the Air Force and move to Mississippi in November. It will be a short engagement with a wedding planned for August! I am very excited for Ken and Celia and I had tons of fun today taking their pictures. Thanks for my hubby for coming along!!

Fun Engagement Pictures
I can probably count on one hand the number of engagement sessions that I have done, but I think they are my favorite things to shoot. I can have so much fun and pretty much have no limitations (as long as the couple is willing to have some fun too)! Check out these cool locations in downtown Minneapolis!

Way to go Amy!! The engagement pictures are absolutely phenomenal! You have captured their free spirits and immense love for one another beautifully!
Oodles of thanx!...Suzi (mom)
Great job Amy!
I sold my 5d due to the slow AF and I bought a 1D Mark III!!!
I know you said that you wanted a 5D but the AF is super slow! The 30D is better in my opinion with the exception of full frame.
Again, great work!
Mike
Hi Amy, Visit Millie Holloman's Blog and clicked your name - guessing you love her style/blog as well. Just thought I would drop you a hello comment (nice to know people are out there) and this engagement shoot is great - nice eye for it. Oh - we have the same bludomain template - very cool.
Cheers
Do some research on the net, its pretty slow. But yeah, a slow lens only makes it worse. I am loving the new camera! Its super fast, even with the lenses that were slow on the 5D. The controls are much like the 5D, 30D, so on, which I like.
Its heavy! And it feels really solid and you can tell it can handle some rain. Wish you were coming down at the end of this month for the workshop again...I will be assisting Kevin this time!
My wife loves your photography...as do I! Keep up the great work!
